Rick, the answer to your question depends on what distributed.net project
you are going to participate in.  If you will be crunching on the OGR-NG
project, then the 64 bit client on your 64 bit machine/OS is the way to go.
OGR-NG benefits from a 64 bit environment so you'll see the best node rates
with the 64 bit client.

However, if you're planning on crunching the RC5-72 project, the answer
isn't quite that cut and dry.  RC5 doesn't benefit from a 64 bit environment
(yet), so my advice to you is to download both the 32 bit and 64 bit
clients.  Do a "benchmark - RC5-72 - all cores" with each client (not at the
same time), and compare your results.  I have a hunch that a 32 bit client
will give you better key rates.  A 32 bit program can still work with no
issues in a 64 bit environment.

However, there is a new 64 bit optimized RC5-72 core in the works.  My
response may very well change once that is up and running, but until it is,
I definitely suggest you try both the 32 and 64 bit clients should you wish
to crunch RC5-72 at optimal rates, and select the best core out of either
the 32 or 64 bit clients.  (Reporting your results back to this list would
be of interest to me).
