Mail-Followup-To set. this (registering every package thru dan bernstein) is not a good solution, given that more and more packages will reside in /package, with growing popularity. i would like to solicit comments, preferably including one from mr. bernstein himself, about installing "deputies", who are to keep the central registry consistent and resolve conflicts as those pointed out by mr. brady. -- clemens fischer
