I understand then that the information given in the string is only pertinent to
clients that understand EPLF from the server. This must rule out most
command-line clients, such as MS Windows command shells, openbsd's ftp, redhat's
ftp, etc as they display the (IMHO) human-unreadable EPLF format. I suppose a
graphical browser will support it; is publicfile's ftpd intended more for a
graphical ftp browser, or is EPLF (established in '96) just not well-recognized
among other clients right now?
