AFAIK, The code compile cleanly if you use dietlibc. You could build a 
RPM without the patch that way.

If you want to know how to do, I think the Mandrake Qmail SRPMS have an 
option to compile with dietlibc.

You will find the Mandrake SRPM daemon tools there too:

with the errno patch.
