Otavio Exel, well it turns out that 1300 BRT time is midnight JST time (Japan) and I had a cron set as follows: 0 0 * * * /usr/local/bin/svc -a /service/qmail-smtpd/log 0 0 * * * /usr/local/bin/svc -a /service/qmail-send/log 0 0 * * * /usr/local/bin/svc -a /service/qmail-pop3d/log Now I am positive that it said to do this in the LWQ guide to set up Qmail with Daemontools. I went back and looked at it, and I can't find it anywhere there. Will this cause my log files from not rotating on their own when they get to 10 MB? thanks Robert Otavio Exel wrote: >Robert Fisher wrote: > > >>Adrian >> >>I guess I should add, if I stop the mail server and restart it.
