As I already tried to point out, what Synopsis is currently missing is
a completion of the (new) C++ parser, in particular all things relating
to type analysis. That is much less a matter of design that it is of
algorithm and implementation. (The design that is missing is really
internal, and wouldn't be much reflected in the public APIs.)

It's quite easy to come up with a shopping list of things that could
be queried from the representations such as type repository, once they
are finished. Basically everything a C++ front-end needs to do, but
in a scriptable way.
