I know I've brought this up before, and apologies for providing another distraction from, you know, actually writing said code... but isn't this yet more reason to consider just integrating Elsa? It's 2-clause BSD, it already parses C++ well, Mozilla is investing heavily in using it to build automated refactoring tools... It's at, of course: http://www.cs.berkeley.edu/~smcpeak/elkhound/sources/elsa/ http://www.cubewano.org/oink Mozilla work: http://blog.mozilla.com/tglek/ (Mozilla is actually an interesting case, because they have a giant codebase that is mashed together out of JS, C++, and funky COM interfaces between the two and between C++ modules -- not too dissimilar from Fresco that way, actually :-). Seems like exactly the sort of place where Synopsis would be most useful...) -- Nathaniel -- Details are all that matters; God dwells there, and you never get to see Him if you don't struggle to get them right. -- Stephen Jay Gould
