FBDev Drawing Issues

I Started fixing the FBdev Backend today,(Want to switch over from 
directfb to save disk and memory space. But i ran into one big problem, 
no background is drawn *g* I get the stk output on top of the linux 
console, after some research i came to the conclusion that STK never 
really draws the background, or does it? It might be possible that my 
brain was just to fucked up today , but as far as i could tell the 
backend isnt doing anything wrong, the Framebuffer just isnt 
cleared/filled with the backgroond color. Anyone got a clue if we draw 
the background, and where?
