Where do I add my peripherals?

Hello everyone, I need to modify bochs source code in order to add some
peripheral to match it with my targer board.

I was able to find out where the rc config file is being processed but I
can't find where does it instantiate all the hardware peripheral (e.g. PIC,
PCI, RAM, etc)

Also I would like to know... is it possible with only one compilation and
different rc files, launch bochs in 486 and pentium emulation?
