You've been told more than once, but you're either not listening, 
demented, or exercising selective amnesia - the evidence thus far 
suggests all three; how do you do z/Linux development/testing at 
home, without ESAME emulation? 

You don't use Hercules - you're not qualified to judge its utility, 
or decide if its existence needs to be justified.

What IBM do, or do not, choose to license has nothing to do with it.
