Hobbiest License idea

I just had an idea that might make the hobbiest license a bit more appealing to IBM, or at least less threatening for potential lost revenue opportunities. The hobbiest license could be for a 'crippled' version of the operating system, one that would go into a hard wait or shutdown after a certain amount of time. This could even be tied to a tiered pricing scheme, like $500/yr for 4hours of run time before an interruption and $1000 for 8 hours. This way it would be difficult for anyone to use this for  production enviorment.
