I gather that as Hercules (or perhaps another emulator) got "under way"
some one realized that MVS 3.8 was still orderable from IBM. I guess
perhaps that it wasn't a "program product" it wasn't "withdrawn from
marketing". Any way I believe that some of the last people to get MVS
from IBM do have confirmation that it can be freely re-distributed.
Might be worth checking out some of the older posts on Yahoo.
