RE: IEA304W SYSTEM WAIT STATE CODE 80009064 DURING IEAVNP10 INITIALIZATION

 Loadparm RA is just the suffix of my LOADxx parmlib member in SYS1.IPLPARM.  Our of habit, I almost always prefixed the LOADxx member with the first initial of the sysprog that modified SYS1.IPLPARM last.  Also, please note that this configuration file works fine under Hercules 4.1 on my original PC, but fails on a new one that I built with more memory.
 

 The E:/zos1pk/zos1pk.3000 and E:/zos1pk/zossys1.3001 are part of a single volume system at z/OS 1.4 that I was playing around with.  zossys1 has JCL libraries in it that I needed to copy over to my new 1.10 system.  They should not be necessary to a successful IPL, but out of an abundance of "I have no idea what's going on" I am in the process of copying them to my new system.  Should be copied over sometime this aftenoon (PDT).  However, I have tested this issue on my old system by just changing the directory that the missing volumes reside in so that Hercules couldn't find the volumes and it IPLs fine.
 

 I will also test the CP issue by changing all of the engines to CP engines.
 

 I will update you as to my progress later today.
