I would be interested too.  BITNET provides many things like relay servers (IRC later) and file servers (like FTP sites). 

 

I got some JNet installment/programming manuals for my OpenVMS hobbyist system.  I will learn how to write file servers, etc. 

But I still need Manager’s Guide and User’s Guide for Jnet software to learn everything about Jnet in full. 

 

There is RSCS package for VM/370 system.   Moshix recently posted his YouTube video about VNET and BITNET.
