I would be interested too. BITNET provides many things like relay servers (IRC later) and file servers (like FTP sites). I got some JNet installment/programming manuals for my OpenVMS hobbyist system. I will learn how to write file servers, etc. But I still need Manager’s Guide and User’s Guide for Jnet software to learn everything about Jnet in full. There is RSCS package for VM/370 system. Moshix recently posted his YouTube video about VNET and BITNET. According to this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BITNET there is already a "BITNET II" revival of BITNET. I didn't find a web page for it though. I didn't find "PROFS" on Wikipedia, but I found this: https://www.ibm.com/ibm/history/ibm100/us/en/icons/networkbus/ BFN. Paul.
