Nope.. Nothing is clear about this.

This is a pet peeve project (nothing wrong about it)

But it's like S/380 (sic)...  : I want hercules to behave so that my toy 
works.

No : You don't get to change the architecture of a system at your 
whim... You adapt your project to existing architectures.

You don't change the meaning of bits in the PSW because it suits you. 
You do not change the behaviour of a known device type just "because" 
it's easier.

Then call it the "BFN Paul" project - put up your mailing list - fine - 
but that's NOT hercules.
