Hello Mike and Peter,

After giving it a try, I managed to IPL my system. It was indeed as you said, it appears that the main disks(SDSYS1 and SDRES1) must be hard coded accordingly. It must have something to do with IODF ? As I tried to attach the IMS disks to units numbered less than 0A.. and it wouldn’t go. 
I think I am missing the BAR disk, so until now I am unable to startup DB2, no worries though as IMS is my main concern.
Reading IMS primer, as I’ve never touched this product before.
