I don't think you can usefully refer to "regular Hyperion 4.0" as a specific
entity which will or won't work for some purpose.  "Regular Hyperion 4.0"
from yesterday could fail in some way while "Regular Hyperion 4.0" from today
might work for the same purpose and "Regular Hyperion 4.0" might fail again
tomorrow.

I think it is not really possible to nail down what way "regular Hyperion 4.0"
will behave at all as such an entity has never been defined or released.

Perhaps the original intention was that "regular Hyperion" would be released
as Hercules 4.0 at some point but this seems to never have happened.  There
have been so many changes to that which started off as "Hyperion 4.0" that
the term is now almost completely meaningless, except for meaning "probably
not like some other more well defined version".

It has become a source of confusion on this list that particular features
are often said to be present or absent in 4.0 but not in some other version
without clarifying what exactly is meant by 4.0.
