Hi Paul, RHEL v6.10 installs and boots ok for me.  I thought it did previously, but just reinstalled from scratch again to confirm.
 

   [root@localhost etc]# more redhat-release
   Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 6.10 (Santiago)
   I'm using:

     11:23:20.048 HHC01413I Hercules version 4.2.0.9616-SDL-gbbda2d73 (4.2.0.9616)
 

 Did your issue occur after installation, when booting for the first time?  Or was it during the installation?
