Anyone who had bothered to read the "Wireless Networking" section of the "Common Problems" chapter of the CTCI-WIN product Help file would know:


  "Wireless Networking"

  "CTCI-WIN does not work with wireless network adapters.
   This is a limitation of the WinPCap device driver
   which only supports 802.3 format packets."
 
  "Wireless adapters send and receive 802.11 format packets
   which are completely different.  Wireless adapters are
   completely different hardware devices from wired adapters,
   and device drivers for one type of hardware obviously
   cannot be used for the other type."
 
  "You can still wirelessly connect to Hercules for 3270
   terminal access for example, but you cannot use your
   wireless adapter for Hercules networking (i.e. you cannot
   use your wireless adapter for your e.g. Hercules CTCI
   or LCS or QETH/OSA devices)."
 
  "If you have both types of network adapters on your computer
   you also need to make sure the wired adapter is bound ahead
   of your wireless adapter (i.e. your wired adapter needs to
   come before your wireless adapter in Windows's network
   adapter binding order).  To change the binding order of your
   network adapters please refer to the instructions provided
   in the "Change the binding order of your adapters" chapter."
 
  "If you are running Windows 10 however, the adapter binding
   order cannot be changed so you must instead define a default
   CTCI-WIN adapter as explained in the "Defining a default
   CTCI-WIN adapter" chapter."
