Let's also make sure the IP addresses are well defined.  Please fill in
the blanks:

Hercules guest OS IP address, subnet mask, and MTU:
MacOS tun IP address, subnet mask, and MTU:
MacOS host Ethernet IP address, subnet mask, and MTU:
Network Router IP address, subnet mask, and MTU:

All of these can influence network functionality.
