Not sure.. But I have no issue binding a WIFI adapter to an ethernet 
bridge to which I can also connect a tun/tap bridge under linux. I 
cannot see why you wouldn't be able to do this under Windows since there 
is a tap driver that can be bridged (and a tun driver that can be used 
for a layer 3 adapter).

Just thinking out loud here..
