An orderly shutdown means that the log file
should be completely written out instead of
being prematurely truncated.

Note that if MVS itself has cached some data
or not closed files, I fully expect *that* data to
be lost. And *that* data loss would be my fault
for not shutting MVS down cleanly.

What I'm not expecting is for Hercules to lose
any data because it's doing a disorderly
shutdown when it is supposed to be doing an
orderly shutdown.

Only if I power off my PC or forcibly close the
Hercules window would I expect to see a
truncated Hercules log file, and *that* would
be my fault.
