Then, please, provide a complete error report describing a reproducible scenario. 

 Please note that TK4- Hercules is frozen, as it will be replaced by SDL Hyperion shortly. So, problem reports against TK4- Hercules will no longer be accepted. If the problem occurs in a TK4- environment only, it must be reproducable on SDL Hyperion 4.2.0.9576 or later.

 That is exactly my problem report - Hercules
 isn't ending gracefully in response to the
 "quit" command. It doesn't even write out
 its own log file properly. If no-one wants to
 fix it, that's fine. But it is a valid problem report.
 Yes, it can be worked around by having fewer
 devices or whatever. I don't experience the
 problem with tk3upd which is why I'm only
 reporting it now.
