If I was triggering a special programming condition
it would fail all the time, not randomly.

Yes there is. That's why results change
between runs.

Amazing. Hercules is totally in charge of
processing the Hercules "quit" command
and closing all the files it has opened, and
putting verbiage into the log file, and then
cleanly closing the log file.

As it does randomly already.
