For those of us who are already members of the group, sure. But what about new users? Those who are new to Hercules? Who have only just discovered Hercules and are trying to join the group? What about them?

Such periodic "informative" messages would only be received by EXISTING members, and then, ONLY to existing members which have chosen to receive emails.

One of the options Yahoo provided to members was the option to not receive any emails at all, and to instead only access the group via their user interface (which, as explained earlier, is now impossible).

So once again, potential NEW members -- people *trying* to join the "Hercules Support Forum" -- would be left out in the cold. THAT is the problem that now (currently) exists the way things are right now that I very much want to try and resolve.

Potential new members are unable to join the group because all new memberships are by invitation only, and further, must be approved by the owner/moderator, and as far as I know, neither Jay nor Roger, both being essential AWOL, are responding to such requests. The group is essentially DYING due to their lack of interest/involvement. :(
