RE: LCS connection dies

I didn't notice the Jazz FTP stuff.  It most likely requires OpenSSH to work correctly, which is going to be an issue when the OP doesn't have TCPIP settled yet.
 

 So you are correct, first we need to get TCPIP and regular FTP running for him and then set up OpenSSH and SFTP, and then the Jazz stuff will likely work fine.  (depending on his z/OS level).  Hopefully he is at least at z/OS 2.2 as there are some slight issues with OpenSSH before then and we would have to approach his installation differently.
