Why don't you dedicate the devices to the virtual machine running the 
demo system ?

Right now, I did manage to connect once - then got dropped, and now, I 
only get the VM/370 logo...

If you'd dedicate the terminals to the virtual machine, then there 
wouldn't be any problems.
