That should be the logic ecept for the PF7 and PF8 - I'll have to look closer at what happens. I brok a coule of my own rules here and leave some subroutines via Branch instead of L 14,xxx - bcr 15,14 action (line commnads have preference.) CC does nothing yet. but it has preference. and the top bottom on a separate transaction. I just fixed the Upper case problem but I ran out of BASE registers - So tommrow will be devoted to reorganizing into subroutines under separate base registers. and that means that I have to get rid of those shortcuts of leaving subroutines with a BR instead of a load and BCR A I said "PRE PRE PRE ALPHA" Needed to do get the code clean any way. - Better now than later. But it is definitely more than a simple tool for editing ten line scripts. Just for fun I entered CC on two lines in the prefix area. Then TOP and BOT commands did nothing even when I removed the CC from both places. But th PF7 and PF8 were still working. I did add lines and delete lines with not trouble. BTW, I would prefer to stick to Xedit standards where possible. So CC should be followed by P or F, not A or B. I am amazed at how far you have come in such a short time. Keep up the good work -- it is much appreciated. /Fran Hensler at Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania USA for 47 years mailto:[email protected] <mailto:fjh%40zvm.sru.edu> http://zvm.sru.edu/~fjh +1.724.738.2153 "Yes, Virginia, there is a Slippery Rock" ----------------------------------------------------------
