After banging my head trying to get Regina REXX to work well in CMS, I gave up and returned to BREXX. The BREXX module, by the way is 190K smaller than Regina REXX. So this version of the SixPack now has BREXX integrated, featuring the REXX I/O routines: CHARIN, CHAROUT, CHARS, LINEIN, LINEOUT, LINES.

The shadow file updates to the SixPack 1.1 distribution are downloadable from:

http://rapidshare.com/files/409265026/VM370_SixPack_Shadows_v1_2_beta3.zip

Note: this is a TEST release of this new version, so I have just posted the shadow files. If you are running version 1.1 of the SixPack, just overlay your shadow files with the new ones.

Jeff Sipek has the original 1.1 release available for download here:

http://vm370.31bits.net/vm370sixpack-1_1.zip

*** Warning! If you have made your own changes, such as to files
*** on the CMSUSER disks, then don't overwrite your vm3350-61
*** shadow file, or you will lose your work.

And of course, make a backup of your shadow files first!

When you have VM running, I suggest you login as CMSUER, and type

HELP WELCOME (MORE

to learn the details of what is new. Then type

HELP CMSCMDS

to see a list of all the CMS commands, including the various utility programs.
