IMO, timeout should be :

1) a user settable option (config file ?)

2) only activate when NOT in the EDITOR .. .i.e. on the flist screen ..

btw, just tried to connect and only getting the Hercules Screen

I'm using Tom Brennan's Vista version 1.27 (from win XP)
