That is usually a last resort for me.

It's not the $30 - It's the principle of the thing,,,
 
For normal editing usage I use my own Editor or more recently I have been
using the one that I helped developed for a software company 30 years ago,
 
I didn't write the File transfer stuff back then But I had the code and lost
it over the years.
 
If I were to pay $30 bucks for  every piece of software that I have tested
or used for a day or two or a month in the course of a lifetime I would not
have been able to retire and have all this fun with Hercules.
I would still be paying off my debts.
 
I have two emulators - Both are great (for me) and they have been following
me around for thirty years.
More important they are functional and even more important I am used to them
 
So it would have to be very very special for me to buy another one.
 
Which does not in any way reduce my admiration for what I have seen of the
VISTA. Very nice piece of software.

Well it's a "whopping" $30 bucks :/

There's online help, which under File Transfer / IND$file options
shows all of the things you mentioned (I think .. I didn't check them
all). You have to pass them as arguements (one time only) in the
transfer / options / additional parameters field. (the parameters
will be remembered from session to session)

I just had to re-install Win XP, I'll take a look at what you've been
up to with the IND$file
