Dave,

This is true!, and I have to admit that I have not looked at the "SixPack"
distribution at all to see how 010 is defined. I seriously doubt that 010 in
the Sixpack is defined as anything but a Model 2.

I'm also quite sure of is that the 43x80 model 4 did not exist until the
advent of the 3278 which had to have a 3274 CU.

Another thing I'm sure of is that the 3274 and 3278/9 were not around when
VM370 Rel 6 was current.

Also recall that there is no real full screen 3270 screen I/O support in CP
at the Rel 6 level. Guests may have been able to do it with dedicated
devices, but CP is effectively line mode.

It depends on whats genned in DMKRIO. If 0010 is genned as a model 4 then it
should work.

# The Operator's Typewriter Console, accessed from the Hercules window.
#0009 3215-C NOPROMPT # used for Hercules "autoconsole"
0010 3270 MOD4 # added to get "regular" console

Is your problem.
Have a read here http://www.hercules-390.org/hercconf.html#3270 to see the
implications of coding MOD4. Also I doubt that VM/370 Rel 6 would work with
a 3277 Model 4 at 010.

Bob documenting it as per Kevin's instructions would indeed be correct.
