That's okay.  In that message, I was merely stating that I had no opinion 
as to whether or not the FSF truly wants shorter copyright periods, but I 
can see how that could be misconstrued as a statement of mistrust in them.

From skimming those articles, it does seem like they're clearly opposed to 
perpetual copyright "on the installment plan" as CTEA provides, but I'm not 
clear yet what exact copyright term they'd advocate, other than zero!  :-)
