Hmmm, but AFAIK all of these people work on the LGPL tree. Almost noone is 
working on the Rewind tree with the exception of TG.

What I say now is the following:
If what you are saying is really correct(and I don't think you are 
inventing this), it seems that the license change was wrong in the first 
place. Let me remember you that I was one of those who OPPOSED the switch. 
And today I still think that the X11 license is superior in some aspects. 
On the other hand I have to agree that the *GPL has also some arguments in 
its favour.

So based on your information I would suggest we conduct another poll to 
decide if we should go back to the X11 license? What do you say? :)

PS1: My personal main problem concerning WINE is that I still don't know 
which license is better for it. That's why I'm on this list...
PS2: Keep in mind that if we go back to X11, CodeWeavers will probably 
maintain all its contributions under the LGPL, so the fork will not end. 
The question now is: which fork will develop better on the long run? Up to 
now it seems that the WINE fork is winning over the Rewind fork.
