And this is were your misconception lies: (L)GPL code is
not public domain. The authors chose a license, just like
the comercial developers have. In many respects, the (L)GPL
license is more liberal than the comercial one, so WTF is your
problem? Do you consider it "public" because you can see the
code? But you can also see WineX code, and you don't seem
to consider _that_ public! What makes (L)GPL code more
pulbic than WineX code (for example)?
