We currently compile with gcc 3.2 with full non-CPU specific optimizations
on.  We have in the past experimented with heavy CPU-dependant optimization
flags (mostly the Athlon-specific scheduling, etc), and saw less than 1%
performance difference.

Our profiling efforts show that WineX spends most of its time (95% or higher)
in OpenGL, not in its own code.  Thus, there will be relatively little benefit
to any CPU-specific optimizations.
