Hi, in the Bitkeeper repositories on linux.bkbits.net I found a patch from Linus that fixes the Copyprotection problems and other stuff like a game that thinks it runs in a debugger. The patch itself is some 2 weeks old and it could make it into 2.6.11... You can download the patch from [1], or directly from the Bitkeeper repository.
