By the way - are you able to start the service ("DKW Heavy Industries VPN
Adapter Service")?

If yes, what exact version of Windows XP (SP1?) and what NIC (intel,
realtek?) are you using?

PS: I'm hopelessly trying to get my windows xp box to start the vpn-service,
yet without any success.
