And it would have been possible that you were working
on the python bindings on behalf of g10code. :)

he is an employee of my company Intevation.

Beside Lucas who has meanwhile replied, I've also got a personal email
asking for the bindings and a technical analysis, and we've checked into the 
roundup issue. So there are at least three Free Software product that care a 
bit.
