[AVFS] cvs version = latest version : 0.9.6

In cvs configure.in, I notice the avfs version is 0.9.6. This is the same
as the version available in the Files section of sf.net.

As a suggestion, would you consider using a different version for cvs to
avoid any confusion? For example, 

AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(avfs, 0.9.7_pre) or
AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE(avfs, 0.9.7_beta) or any other future name you want.

There is a significant difference between the cvs tree and the version on
sf -- fuse support, as an example. Also, the cvs version actually works
with kernel >= 2.6 and is very usable!
