Hi all,

After the sf cvs server works again, I committed a bunch of code lately
discussed on the ML. The changes include an improved cache for the extfs
module with huge speedups when opening an archive in an extfs archive
(as an example). The fuse daemon can be compiled and installed by
specifying --enable-fuse for the configure script.
There is also a symlink rewrite code which make absolute symlinks work
for fuse (and possibly other situations). It's not active by default but
can be switched on by doing something like

   echo "1" >"/#avfsstat/symlink_rewrite"

(it can be switched off again at any time)

Some documentation about this is still missing.

Unfortunately the anonymous cvs will not be in sync for a couple of days
because of the crash of the cvs server.

Best regards,

Ralf Hoffmann
