OpenAFS 1.4.1 Release Candidate 8 now available

The OpenAFS Gatekeepers announce the availability of OpenAFS version
1.4.1 Release Candidate 8.  Source files and available binaries can be
accessed via the web at:

     http://www.openafs.org/dl/openafs/candidate/1.4.1-rc8/

or via AFS at:

     /afs/grand.central.org/software/openafs/candidate/1.4.1-rc8/

Major changes new to 1.4.1 from 1.4.0:

  - Support for MacOS X 10.4 (Tiger)

    Thanks to Chaskiel Grundman for the port.

Other changes:

* Windows:
   + ICMP packets received due to port unreachable messages no longer
     adversely impact RX performance

   + rc8 fixes a bug introduced in rc7 that causes servers to appear down
     even when they aren't

* Unix: Issues have continued to be tracked and addressed, notably on MacOS
   + Many MacOS 10.4 issues have been addressed, several since the last
     candidate (again).

   + rc8 fixes the fileserver updates included in rc7 to avoid a condition
     where authorization information was not collected.
