Thanks to Asanka, a sample extension has been committed to the 
repository under src/WINNT/netidmgr_plugin/extensions/sample/.

Read the README file in that directory.

Implementing the extension should be straight forward.  The hardest
part should be developing the icon file to represent rxk5.
