Needing to get the box up and running again is fine.
I'm sorry to sound rude but this is why "fs minidump" was implemented
and it has been documented in the release notes now for at least
two years.  You think there is a deadlock or some other problem?  No 
worries.  "fs minidump", kill the service and restart it.   Then grab 
the dump file and examine it at your leisure on another system.
