Hi All,
Since there is not a convenient way to re-validate the LVB in current
OpenDLM, I suggest to add a dedicated flag to do this work. There is a
possible usage model in my mind:
When a lock client want to re-validate a LVB, it can specify
LKM_REVALIDLVB (just for example) and issue a conversion to the same
lock mode. And the resource master will re-validate the LVB when it
receive the lock request, regardless of the lock mode.
It can work as a temporary solution before we get "recovery domain". Any
comments/suggestion?
Best Regards,
Stan
