NFS proxy?

We are looking at using SFS to proxy for one of our NFS servers. 
Reading over what I found on the web, there appears to have been an 
NFSHost parameter that came about in version 0.5[c|d] and has since 
vanished.  Does anyone know if it is currently possible to setup an 
SFS->NFS proxy?  If so, do you have any pointers?
