Version 2.8 of the Windows version of Zero Install has been released. Changes in this version include: * Improved updating of stale feeds (optimized for offline use cases) * Automatically close running applications when removing them from the implementation cache * Added OneGet integration * More detailed --verbose console output * Fixed "access denied" error when removing certain desktop integrations * Many small tweaks and bugfixes Existing installations will update automatically after confirming a dialog box. You can also trigger an immediate update using the command line: 0install self-update For new installations please download here: https://0install.de/downloads/ OneGet is Microsoft's new unified interface for package managers on Windows. I am working on getting Zero Install for Windows listed in OneGet's "bootstrap" list. That would enable users on a pristine Windows 10 machine to issue a command like this: Install-Package vlc -Provider 0install This would be equivalent to downloading and installing Zero Install and then running: 0install add vlc ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ One dashboard for servers and applications across Physical-Virtual-Cloud Widest out-of-the-box monitoring support with 50+ applications Performance metrics, stats and reports that give you Actionable Insights Deep dive visibility with transaction tracing using APM Insight. http://ad.doubleclick.net/ddm/clk/290420510;117567292;y
