Hi, Carl. Money and Quicken effectively use OFX to communicate with banks. They compile an OFX file, post it via HTTP to the bank, and get another OFX file in response. This link will give you lots of good information: http://www.jongsma.org/gc Also, I've put together a rudimentary implementation in KMyMoney (kmymoney2.sf.net) that retrieves statements from the bank.
