I figured this would probably be a better list than any other to ask this type of question. What I would like to know is how Money and Quicken connect directly to my bank account to download transactions. I assume they use web services of some kind. The thing is, I would like to write some scripts to manage my own finances. Up to now I have been screen scraping to do it, but I figure there is probably a more convenient solution, preferrably one that doesn't break whenever a company updates its web site. Does anyone know of a list of the major banks and how to access their web services?
