Ok, could we at least put something in for prototype purposes, so real people can try all this stuff out? How about this...? Somehow, code which uses OFX Direct Connect needs to fill in the OfxFiLogin and OfxAccountInfo structures. They can only do this fully by examining the information returned from the Account Info request, which one would logically parse using libOFX. So, could we add a DirectConnectInfo field to the AccountData structure, which would contain an OfxFiLogin and OfxAccountInfo structure? Alternately, could we add a new callback that would return these 2 structures for each account? Either of these solutions would at least allow Direct Connect to be fully usable in end applications without a major API rework. When major API changes were done, then this could be revisited.
